When I was younger, I played in tournaments and competitions all the time. It was serious. It was competitive. Somewhere along the way, I stopped having fun. I became obsessed with being the best—and eventually, it was too much. I quit.

For years, I stayed away from the game. Every time my grandpa asked me to golf like we used to, I always said no. Then one day, he was too old to play. I’ve regretted it ever since. I’d give anything to have one more round with him.

That’s why Yellow Jacket Golf Co. exists. To remind us not to take golf too seriously. To play our own game. To enjoy the walk, whether we’re shooting our best round or our worst.

The Yellow Jacket became our symbol because golf stings sometimes—bad shots, tough rounds, days when nothing goes your way. But like the wasp, golfers are resilient. We get back up, stay sharp, and keep swinging.
